Sessions
My approach to sessions is laid back and friendly. I find that the best shots start to come through after spending some time getting to know you and creating a playful environment. Generally my sessions are 1-2 hours, which leaves plenty of time for a variety of shots and locations, with room for clothing or nappy changes too. After an hour or two children grow tired and so do adults. In some circumstances I will allow for extra time to make sure we get the right result. Depending on location and available light I’ll either use natural lighting or a small studio flash. The location is just a backdrop while you are the prime focus of the session. My aim is to get at least 20 unique images each session.
Newborns: Sessions with newborns usually take place in your home and full 3 hours are allocated to get to know each other and allow adequate time for naps and feedings. We will take things nice and slowly so that the session is low stress for the baby and enjoyable to the parents. The pace is dictated by the family dynamic and baby’s temperament. I will lead the family in a number of poses as well as allow natural interaction time to capture the atmosphere.
Children and Families: The location is determined by you and in some cases the weather. I prefer morning hours when children are not too tired and are alert and ready for the day. A picnic in your favorite park, a stroll on the beach, or having fun on a swing on a playground are the best for family photos. When the weather is not cooperating home setting can be equally charming. Each family has its own style and each child takes special care to create the magic. I will spend enough time finding this special approach and we will have a fun time discovering what works for your family. Usually a session will take anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours.
Engagement and Couples: Photographing a couple in love has its own pleasure. Time of day is not as specific, but a diffused light of early morning or twilight can be especially romantic and complimenting. The location is up to you. I will gently direct the poses and will suggest a number of scenarios as well as take your own vision into account.
Lifetime events: Lifetime events are birthdays, religious ceremonies (christenings and bat mitzvah, weddings excluded), and other activities that will take 3-4 hour. This is the time when you want to concentrate on your special moments, while making sure they are fully captured. I am there to record that hidden tear in the corner of the eye, the blow of the candle and grandparents fussing over a bow on the head or the placement of the tie. We can discuss your expectations and priorities and I will make sure to capture it.
2013 sessions fee
(engagement, family, couples, children, senior portraits, etc.)
Life Session: Includes a 1-2 hour photo session, travel within London area, post processing time, pass-worded online proofing gallery to select your images. Within 2 weeks of the photo session I will provide you with a gallery of 150-200 proofs from which you can select 15-20 images which I will artistically edit for prints. I will also post process some images at my discretion. After the post processing you will have up to 1 month to order prints with no ordering with no order minimums. Retouched prints, session DVD's, canvas art and additional downloads will be available directly from your online proofing gallery. £80.00
Event Sessions: Includes up to 3 hours of shooting time, travel within London area, post processing time, pass-worded online proofing gallery to select your images. Within 2 weeks of the photo session I will provide you with a gallery of 400-500 color corrected proofs from which, if necessary, you can select 10-20 images for additional air-brushing. Retouched prints, session DVD's with a slide show are included. If requested, for your convenience your guests will be able to print or download images from the gallery. Additional products will be available for purchase directly from your online album. £250.00
* At the time of the booking a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your date.
* Of course we can never be sure of our health and cancellations will occur. In that event you have a year to reschedule the your date session
Weddings
I am currently building a portfolio of wedding imagery and therefore offering a significantly lower price than the current market. I suggest booking an ‘engagement’ session to see if my style, personality and level of service suit your needs. If we agree on booking a wedding I will provide credit in the amount of engagement fee towards the wedding package.
Wedding coverage starts from £300.

A la cart pricing is available for all photo sessions with online proofing.
• Digital Images: DVD of all high resolution proof images with release for personal printing - £150-350
Prices for DVD depend on the type of session and other variables. Contact me for details.
• Digital Negative: Single digital image in high resolution and release for personal printing- £40/ image
• Albums: Album pricing includes the design, pages, images and any retouching or imprinting. Each album is custom created with your input to make a great product that you will love and share with your family and friends for years to come. - £250 - £3000
